Who should replace Frank Lampard?

The problem is that we don't have senior personel with the experience and know how, to run a big sports/football club.

It might sound a bit out there but I'd keep Lampard, sack Thelwell and get Eddie Jones in. He has an Ancelotti like presence and knows how to deliver. Frank would blossum under his mentoring.

….ffs, it took us an age to prize Ferguson out & now some want him back. Unbelievable.

i have no idea who should come in but I know who shouldn’t - Ferguson.
Like it or not, he's demonstrated that he can get something out of players that other managers have not. Being him in with an experienced head until the end of the season and go from there.

He did ok, unbeaten in his four games (lost on pens in the cup game) then lost 1-0 to Gerrards villa he did pretty well I think, whether he could keep it up we just don’t know, but Benitez and Lampard have been awful so I honestly don’t believe Dunc would do any worse.
Outside of the Chelsea game, every performance dipped, United we were lucky to get a point, Leicester should have buried us before they even let us back in the game, Arsenal and Villa were both dreadful

The really really sad thing here is that there are people who believe replacing him will matter.

It's staggering to me that there's been a stampede in recent weeks to get him out.

This team are going down regardless.

There isn't a case to be made for survival here.

I accept Lampard has to go. But for the life of me I cant understand how it will make us more competitive, because the bottom line here is that this is a player driven crisis and not a managerial one.

I’d be happy with either atm.
Moyes had the trick here of fixing things when we weren’t going well, no one since had been able to do that, but Moyes has struggled to do that elsewhere, but perhaps he was just a good fit for Everton.
Served us well and he will soon kick these up the arse.

Would Moyes have the motivation to come back here though? Considering he was passed over twice for the job before he went back to West Ham
I think he would give it another go, personally I don’t think a lot of our players are that bad, but the managers just can’t get them playing anywhere near there potential. Atm we do have a novice manager that isn’t helping matters.
