Who should replace Frank Lampard?

I hate the idea of it, but we are a team who cannot play any football and need to hoof and kick our way to survival.

What other manager can we appoint?

It's not like the board will provide a quality goalscorer.
That’s the worry I guess

In principal we are a sleeping giant of the game, premier league football club, not in the bottom three…we should be able to attract a progressive manager.

The reality will be the shortlist proivdied hy kenwright, moshiri, sharp and dbb will be
. Rooney
. Ferguson
. Martinez
. Moyes (if he gets sacked)

With that list then dyche looks like a godsend.

But he managed the team that got relegated ahead of us last year for the majority of the season…when we were awful.

Yet he is the main to save us? I don’t get it.
Burnley are a totally different club to Everton.
They work on a minimal budget and have to sell their better players to survive.

I would do it on a part time basis and for 500 a week and only because I would get a bamboo stick and slap arses still get more a tune out of these players then our man frank

….ffs, it took us an age to prize Ferguson out & now some want him back. Unbelievable.

i have no idea who should come in but I know who shouldn’t - Ferguson.
I’d take Dunc back, no one else seems to be able to sort this lot out, Dunc certainly couldn’t do any worse. But I’d go for Dyche he plays the style we need to survive.

Who ever comes is coming to a poor team and a club that has no money. The board will understand that we are in a situation in which we are fighting for a lives. Change is not always the answer, and constant change is never the answer.

People talking about Moyes Pochettino Martinez and Rodgers are in la la land. There is no way any of them would come. Scott Parker is moving to Australia. Dyche is finished in football after what he did to Burnley which is why he has been invovled in rugby league.

I don't think Frank will go because the merry go round has to stop at some point but the board know that if he goes, Dunc would be our only option.

There's glimpses of positives from the squad to build a solid team (still needs firepower) so far this season.

Lampard is just too inexperienced at this level with this type of football.

The type of club that would have to sell their Brazilian number 9 to appease ffp and scrambling around in January for loans.

It won’t be popular but Dyche, I think, could come in and provide some structure and discipline to our otherwise chaotic mess of a club.

It wouldn’t be pretty, but he’s done more with less and could start tomorrow.

Progressive football is the reason Lampard is getting sacked. We aren't capable of that style.

We would get under 30 points with a "progressive" manager, never mind 40.

It is a disgrace, but that's where we are.
