My brother had one , we lived in Wavertree not America . The left eye was a magnifier and one of the limbs did something that matched the tv character.

You feel old when your mother in law has been in hospital for 12 months due to their negligence broken hip, broken wrist unsuccessful hip operation - Dementia worse now etc ....& the Social Care system is in melt down no nursing home will have her as they have made her into a cabbage ....
Her house is still there - boiler man serviced the central heating boiler had to put a part on left the back door open - Bingo mice are in -

My old Nurseryman Skills with 5 good mouse traps killed two young & one parent up to now, at least 4 to get as yet - They are vermin they have been in her cupboard they have crapped everywhere started to build a nest behind the microwave.....

I just think is this what you have to look forwards too ? In later life - her insurance will not let us have the policy of home care plumbing, heating etc burst, vermin etc, but have insured most things as the house is not vacated by her ......

The social care situation is grim & I don't see any government fixing it ever... OAP social Council homes should never have been closed down .....

….ha, ha, we had the outside loo as well but Newspaper was much preferable to Izal, Joey. As someone who worked in Government offices in the 70s, I couldn’t believe some staff used to Nick it to take home.
