I told you all last season we wouldn't get relegated and we didn't but you still sent me messages when we lost which I found really weird and you've just done it again.
Am I all there is in your life., I'm flattered.

Nope, that’s not what you said, what you said was that we’d be comfortably clear of relegation and that anyone worrying about it was a bed wetter. We weren’t and we aren’t now, people were correct to be worried and people are correct to be worried now. Personally I think we’ll finish bottom.

If we’d have had a proper forward line we’d have won the game long before injury time and wouldn’t have been able to get counted attacked in the final minute.

A goalscorer and one better wing option and we won today easily in my opinion.
That doesn’t change what I’m saying though. We don’t control games and we don’t keep clean sheets. The idea that all our problems will be solved if we sign the sort of bog standard striker we can attract is quite staggeringly naive.

I want to see news by the end this week of an imminent striker signing.
A striker maybe. But we don't have any cash to buy a decent striker. The Premier league have to sign off our signings at the moment. We've squandered the Richarldison money.

I didn’t say bog standard striker and you’re missing my point.

How can we hope to control a game if every time we go forward we immediately lose possession? Look at what an ancient Giroud did for France in the World Cup - simple, experiences hold up play and then getting on the end of chances.

Our defending was fine today even without our best defender playing - the problem is not creating and not scoring

Just watched the Lampard interview, he looks beaten, I think by Southampton we could see Dunc back.

To be fair mate, Duncan Ferguson hasn't actually earned his stripes. He didn't have the bottle to go to Madrid with Ancelotti, and he hasn't had the bottle to take a managers job since leaving us. The guy doesn't deserve another go with Everton.

This is the result of watching that garbage last season and pretending it was bad luck and not bad talent and coaching. They better spend very smartly in the transfer window for scorers or they are going down. The same games that Everton sees as a likely win the opponents are now seeing the same thing.
It’s amazing that Lampard had the cheek to bat back questions about our recruitment by saying we got unlucky with DCL’s injuries.

I said we wouldn't be relegated as there were 3 worse teams than us, just as there are now.
But hey you subtract or add to that to suit your agenda.

A striker might make us a bit better, but honestly you’re just not seeing what our issues are if you think that’s all we need.

Course you did, agenda indeed

I’m just at a loss as to why I should bother anymore.

All this club does is depress me.
Mate I am with you. I am on the edge of completely giving up and being a casual football watcher. Even during the late 90s and early 2000s this team had something to keep me interested, fight passion etc. This team does nothing except make me completely miserable, and I dislike every single one of them.
