I expect Brentford to sink like a stone when Toney gets about a 4 month ban.

They can join us in the relegation scrap with Wolves, Forest and S'ton.

Sam could save us, don't forget at one point under him we were the second best team in Europe defensively

Toney is nor suspended yet, but should be. The player and Brentford can drag this one long enough so that when the suspension happens they could already be safe. Crazy that he is allowed to play on boxing day.

Are we? Where are we we big favourites to finish 20th? I must have missed that one.
Be honest, look from the outside, if you were totally neutral you would take one look at the current Everton and say they have no chance.
Baring in mind we have started this season way worse then we started last season, and look what happened there.

Problem is its too soon to ban him, I'm not fully up on what's gone on and if he has been convicted of anything, but all this legal stuff drags on.

In the tit’s head
LOL. After the stellar Bournemouth performance surely Everton will get lots of points against City, Arsenal and even Wolves. The worst team by a country mile. Lampard has mad a nothing team, from last season, even worse. For that alone he should get a medal!

You haven’t answered the guy’s question, where has it been said we’re favourites to finish 20th?

My concern is that we are simply not good enough.

I thought that last season too, but there was always the hope with Richarlison in the side, combined with the occasions at home when fans would push the lads over the line, that we might get enough points. I wonder if there is the same stomach this time around, and even if there is, it only goes so far.

Who knows what will happen today, but its hard to see us winning enough games. It's critical the business done in January is done right, as without that I'd put us in the bottom three.
