Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Ange Posteluglo or however you spell it...

Not that he'd come

Don't want Frank sacked either.

Regretting even answering this thread to be honest

Wish that things would work out at Everton for Frank Lampard. But it isn't really. Most of the football is awful. He sticks Coleman into the team , every chance he gets , instead of Patterson. He takes ages to make a substitution. What's that about? Can't all be that he doesn't trust the bench. The Bournemouth defeats were embarrassing. And what about our lack of goalscorers . Lampards been here long enough now , to have addressed that. Maybe Simms and Dobbin might have helped out. But with Lampard at the helm , I guess that we will never know. And some of our most embarrassing defeats have been with Lampard in charge. Ok , there have been many awful defeats over the years. But this seems different under Lampard. He doesn't seem to know how to change things. Only once in a blue moon do we come back from going a goal down. It's all so predictable. I could go on and say more , but there you are.

Unfortunately I now think that Lampard is not the man for Everton. I've voted for S. Dyche. Hopefully steady the ship. Keep a few clean sheets. Then we don't lose. And maybe he can come up with a way for this team to score a few goals. Maybe. Anyhow , beggars can't be choosers. Dyche might just steady the ship. And as for punters thinking that Dyche would have us playing awful football? What do you think this nonsense under Lampard is? It ain't great. Rant almost over.
Noticed today that Wolves beat a Spanish team in a friendly 4-3. Is that them getting up a head of steam for boxing day. Just hope that Mr. Lampard doesn't have us sleep walking into this boxing day fixture.
Sorry folks , I'm seeing nothing from Lampard , the football is mainly awful. We manage a decent win , and it looks like a corner is turned , then bang , it's back down to earth with a few awful defeats. That's no good .
So if we get beat by Wolves , I'm thinking that Lampard is then running out of chances. Let's see what happens. Up The Toffees.
Rant over.

More than one. Hope this helps.

He’s had more than one window tbh. He’s told everyone about how he was already pursuing Dele Alli before Uncle Harry recommended him in January. He brought in Van de Beek as well. Both were poor. He’s then bought two forwards in the summer that are apparently so useless that they need replacing already. It feels like he needs an awful lot of help just to not be the worst we’ve ever been.

Lampard has said nothing about replacing either Maupay or McNeil.

What he has said, is that, in the light of DCL’s on going injury / fitness problems, is that we need to strengthen the forward line.

Which, is not the same, as the false narrative, that’s being spun on here, as fact, by the usual suspects, about replacing Maupay and McNeil.

His apologists are claiming that our forwards are so useless that expecting goals is far-fetched. The solution being put forward to this problem is to purchase new players that play in the same position as Maupay and McNeil.

I agree that we need better than Maupay and McNeil, but I don’t think they’re so bad that we can’t manage more than 3 shots on target every 3 games. I think sides that are struggling to manage 3 shots on target every 3 games are being badly managed, and that they end up being relegated.

So, you`re agreeing that at no point, has Lampard has said, that Maupay and McNeil need replacing.

A simple yes or no will do.

Thanks.

Ps - the people spinning this as fact, have an agenda, but you know that already don`t you.

I believe he thinks it, but is not allowed to say it, as this would be undermining Thelwell.

It doesn’t matter whether Lampard has said it in public or not. It seems that everyone, whether they think Lampard should be given more time or not, is of the opinion that there is a need to provide replacements that play in the same position as Maupay and McNeil. The reason why everyone agrees with this is because we are currently struggling to manage more than 3 shots on target every 3 games. I think that a record like that is down to more than just personnel. I think the side is being badly managed.

I would absolutely love Ange Postecoglou at Everton, but the man has a way of playing that he will not budge from, and he would need time to build his own squad. So what I'm saying is our fans would drive him out in 6months or less. The wasters we have in our squad right now cannot play the way Ange likes, not a chance.

He didn’t buy Alli or Van de Beek, he wasn’t even in the job at that time, and our director of football bought McNeil and Maupay.

So, that`ll be a No then.
