I'd like to think some part of him might recognise he acted like a dick and the fella he abused has just retired in that moment after a year of cancer treatment.I mean it is really, emotions and adrenaline don't just evaporate upon the final whistle blowing. But I can appreciate your point in general.
I'm not really sure they should have been. The game was not handled well and was very unruly but I just don't think you can point to one team or incident like that.Quite the match, great watch. The dutch equalizer was one of the best free kick plays Ive seen, what timing, and Argentina clearly should have been down to 10 but saved by a very incompetent referee.
No doubt FIFA will love it though.
Seized that belt from Uruguay and never looked back.Croatia are an amazing football nation population of 4 million, pound for pound best in the world.
Portugal and Uruguay both in that discussion too IMOCroatia are an amazing football nation population of 4 million, pound for pound best in the world.

Paredes definitely should have been sent off. The foul and then booting the ball into the Dutch bench was clearly two yellows. I’m sort of happy he didn’t get sent off but he should have been. It was a gritty match though with a card happy ref so probably other situations that could have been a red. But that one was clear for meI'm not really sure they should have been. The game was not handled well and was very unruly but I just don't think you can point to one team or incident like that.
