Good morning all and afternoon @Gwladysover that is too early .We had some visitors outside the bedroom window just before .Shame but my phone doesn't like shots thro' the glass .I hope all had a good night and have a great day today . I was sad to see Morocco and Switzerland go out .I know the Portugese have some great players but I want Ronaldo to lose every game as I think he is a *****.

Great pic and agree 100% about Ronaldo.

Good morning all. @Barnfred 55 sorry about your friend. That's a tough round of treatment but hopefully worth it. I hope you get your anticipated visitor for Christmas ? @peteblue hope the funeral goes well. She sounds like a lovely person. You're having a rubbish time at the moment. Hugs x @fandjango sounds like you had a really fun night. Ive been wondering if the World Cup will have a new name on it this time round. Netherlands Croatia Portugal or Morocco. Who knows? @blue1948 love your visitors and @Ducans elbow That's really cold!

I'm off for an alternative Christmas lunch today - a select group of people will be having pie chips peas and gravy in the Taylors pie factory cafe (Google them!) I might wear my Christmas jumper. I bought it last year, it has reindeer on it and 'Sleigh the Patriarchy' written on it. I love it ??

Good morning all on this fine day here in Finland .I hope all had a great night and have a great day . I have been busy trying to get a subtitle apk to work on my new android box ,it is one that offers them up by course instead of having to multi click to get them .
Yesterday we thought we might watch a series called "The mosquito beach "but as sometimes happens we got something totally different and it was" The Pact " there are two series but not the same story and we thought they were well worth a watch .quite good for crime series where it is sometimes too easy to guess " It is often the first one you guess and then they persuade you otherwise .
Have a great day all and we will go shopping this week end's menu includes ,the reindeer that I couldn't get on Monday , a seafood pasta and another Finnish tradition "Kalakukko" which translates to fish cake but is nothing like .
Interestingly my son and his wife who are both pescies told me that they were to have it in Cornwall ! when I explained that it has pork fat to moisten the fish they were shocked but not as much as when the conversation carried on to find that so did the borsch soup they had devoured the week before which had beef in it .COYB

Morning all, very frosty and bright. The moon setting over the fields was some compensation for yesterday’s early start but glad I don’t have to do that every day just once more tomorrow. Going to church this afternoon with youngest grandchild’s class. They were short of helpers to accompany the children so I volunteered. Hoping I can find my way into the school in the first place. I have received details of which gate (there are several), instructions on how to open gate, press buzzer, code etc then go to office. Not confident I’ll gain entry. lol Have a good day.?

Sounds like the Kyrpton Factor far to complicated for us oldies.
I suggest standing by the gate and shouting through the fence

Hope you manage to get in.
I let the cat out at 5am this morning - beautiful clear night with a big full moon. Consequently two hours later when taking Mr F to work, the car was completely frozen.

Managed to gain entry, more confusion as asked to sign in via a touchscreen and have photo taken. I was given a badge to be attached to clothing at all times, unfortunately said badge had a barcode which needed scanning on exit and entry meaning it had to be taken off and reapplied thus ensuring after a couple of times it no longer stuck.

Just back from the school visit to the church. It started with quiz to identify various parts of the church, font, candles etc before the minister did a little talk to the children about why Christians celebrate Christmas. She held the audience well considering they are 5 and 6 year olds and at the end asked if there were any questions. One little lad put his hand up and asked if Santa was God’s best friend. “He just brings the presents” she replied so I’m guessing they are probably not best friends.lol

Half surprised they didn't insist on a DBS check?
