Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Been listening to Vruce Springsteen's new album. Its a cover album of soul classics. I am less than impressed. He hasn't got the vocal range to cover soul songs. Stick to what you do best Bruce. However he was lovely on Graham Norton on Friday.
Not a great fan of him to be honest but thought I’d give it a go. There are two of my favourite songs on there “What becomes of the broken-hearted” and “The sun ain’t gonna shine” which he doesn’t do justice, I agree he should stick to what he knows.

Good morning all on this dark day here in Finland .A bad weekend cheered by a post from @jazzy .The next transfer window cannot come fast enough ,it seems obvious Gordon has been derailed by the talk of Chelsea ,sadly his displays have done little to enhance his chances, such is life .We had this problem last year with no striker ,we just aren't a threat and no team seems worried either but there is light at the end of the tunnel I think!
I hope all slept well and have a great day .

Watching documentary on Sky about Geoff Hurst. It is very good. What a lovely bloke. Interesting to think that five years after scoring a hat trick in The World Cup Final, he was selling insurance for Abbey Life and continued to do so for the next 19 years. Well worth a watch.
Posh played West Ham in a friendly. My friend and I waited ages for the team bus to arrive, I had dragged her there about two hours before kick off to make sure we got a good place, she wasn’t keen on queuing for that long but she quite fancied Bobby Moore so she gave in, When the bus arrived and the players got off I went up to ask for autographs from my World Cup heroes only to be totally ignored by Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters and Bobby Moore. A little bit of me died that day.lol

If there was a legitimate £60m bid for Gordon then it was negligent not to accept it. I thought it at the time and hindsight isn’t changing my mind.

Even an average CF target man would have had us in upper mid table now I think. Get Maupay in and around him along with a new creative player to complement Iwobi and we’ll be OK.

I never understand how some players don’t have time for fans. Says a lot about them as people.

Oh thats rubbish. I take it all back. As an aside, Bobby Moore played in the first Everton match I ever went to. FA Cup 1975. We played Fulham. We lost.

Morning all, another gloomy day, yesterday’s fog has now turned to rain. Hope all is well with @fandjango and @Terrarian. Glad you are feeling better @Armaghtoffee, take it easy but by the sound of it you don’t have much choice. Enjoying a cup of tea in bed at 6.30 and received a call from grandchild no. 3 who was making a card for her gt grandparents wedding anniversary. She wanted to know long they had been married, so could I look it up for her on the internet, sometimes FaceTime can be a wonderful thing, other times it’s a pain in the rear end. lol. It is 65 years by the way.
Have a good day, all.?
