Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Not a programme I normally watch but I am interested in watching Nick Hancock being put through several shades of **** in the Jungle. The man is shameless.

His mate, Lembit Opik, was on before and basically said we shouldn’t be critical of him on this as ‘this is a second job for him, same as many of your viewers have second jobs’. I have been digesting this over the day and I am still not finding a positive way to take that statement. No sense of responsibility at all, just a sense of entitlement. They are actually laughing at us all.

Pretty sure it is Matt Hancock mate.

Its the cult of "celebrity" and like you, it disgusts me that public servants think that they are anything other than that. At least that Oprick bloke had a tenuous "celebrity" profile once he poked a cheeky girl, but that kinda proves my point!

And a "second job?" His first one we pay him circa £75000 for.

In a nutshell, Hancock is known cos he ballsed up during Covid. Then ITV pay him (reportedly) £500,000 to eat a bollock. And when I say ballsed up, he caused thousands of Grans and Grandads to die.

A disgusting person. He has to live with that, and maybe justify it one day, who knows. I can look at the man in the mirror. If he can, he isnt even a man.

Yeah, I am angry.

You’re right mate, Nick is the former Buzzcocks host .

This England show on Sky hopefully opened the eyes of many to the deplorable behaviour of the government during the pandemic. But in keeping with what we saw then all that matters is the next quick buck to continue lining the pockets.

I feel sympathy for the good politicians, in there to serve us for the greater good, who are lazily labelled as ‘all as bad as each other’.

Whilst I truly respect your views I think they outnumber the good ones or at least the ones who get to the top do .That is the reason I think the system stinks .
If you watch them in "this England " they behave like prats with little or no respect for each other let alone the public .
I said last week that I thought any government would have made a mess of Covid , just because of their survival instinct mated with the need for power but I do believe that they made a worse job than any others would have .
The system seems to be against those who truly are good politicians for the greater benefit of those who are not.

The current ruling crop are a cesspit and if they had any decency they would have agreed to an election. The quest for personal gain over common good isn’t even a moral dilemma for them.

Even for ourselves here, that our parliament remains down due to selfish interest is against everything politics should be. I know a few good ones who want to help but they are being deprived of an opportunity to do so.

All this while local churches ask for help to keep their buildings open longer to allow the needy to sit in them for warmth. Incredible to be even typing that.

I'm angry too. He should be at work. The country is going tits up and he's cashing in on his notoriety ( I refuse to say fame) The whole purpose is to launder his image from murderer who killed your granny to likeable nerd who eats kangaroo penis. Not to mention the millions or even billions of ££s he wasted on track and trace ( contracts for his mates with f*** all experience) and the utter fiasco over PPE.

Hello folks. How is everybody? The weather has really turned up here. Gets really cold at night now and it's very windy. The heating is on, the cat is overjoyed. So am I to be fair.
Another nightmare IT day in work. Nothing worked, tried to do a letter about 8 times , none of it saved. Utterly useless. In other news, PCS, the civil service union managed get over a 50% turnout to make the strike ballot valid and 86% voted to strike. I'm really pleased they hit the 50% mark. Hopefully another swathe of public sector workers announcing strike action might change the Government's mind on pay.

Been to the hairdressers today which was very therapeutic after the IT issues. Made herby pork pasta for tea. One of our favourites and a bit of a budget meal - it uses sausage meat.

Going to watch the Man Utd - Villa match. No interest in who wins.

But he is though, he has his laptop with him.

Surely his constituents won’t fall for that!
