I could be wrong, and usually am, but I reckon Maddison will be used in the same way as Grealish. Southgate tends normally to start players who work hard also out of possession.

I think it’s a hard working team and fairly balanced with a bit of flair up top, but no doubt GS would go with Phillips and Rice instead..

If Saka isn’t in that starting 11 it’s a farce. He’s been fantastic this season and really stepped up his game.
If we can fit in Saka, Foden and Sterling behind Kane Id be happy with that
