Iran may well be under-estimated if going by the last world cup means anything...they gave Portugal a good game and were an 'injury time golden chance' away from knocking them out. I can't say i've seen much of them since, mind.

I'm just glad we got a 3 game minimum since we're travelling this far for a tournament. The expense is quite a bit for some families, and quite the strain on the parent chaperones, so its good to get 3 matches out of it.

Just because Philips is a bench player these days doesn’t make him less of a player. He’s been solid for England for quite some time now and is/would be a decent backup to bring in should any of the starting midfield break down.

Ward-Prowse offers us and does nothing apart from set pieces, and we have that already in the squad.

The real question is why is Henderson anywhere near this squad.
