It's close at the bottom this season, by the looks of it there are 8 or 9 teams who could go down. There's no reason to believe we won't be in the thick of it again.

I don't think we are going to be able to expect much from Dominic Calvert-Lewin now so a striker and winger in January is a must. It really is too soon to predict it. So, yeah in conclusion I have no clue if we'll stay up.
Without a striker and winger in January, I would say we certainly must be a likely candidate. We have no goals in this team.

Clutching at straws looking at past relegated teams the goal difference at the end of the season is typically about-20 or far worse. We are currently-3 with the current bottom three on -17, -14 and -20. So keep the defence solid for the remaining games and job done ;)

Agreed. We are likely to be at the wrong end of the table by April/May and we won't have Richarlison this time to count on.
I alway thought we would be between 12th and the drop. Never to big to go down. Villa, Leeds, Newcastle and West Ham all have on more than 1 occasion. Frank and Kev need to find 2 players who can bring goals and energy into the team. Who I don’t know but they are paid millions a year for that.

Remember the time when a striker was the easiest position in the team to pick up?, now it's the hardest seems like most teams from across the 4 leagues are missing a decent one. You could pick them up from non league and they could still score at top level.Don't happen now which I suppose is down to fitness and a more continental style of play.

Yeah we seemed to have decent attackers in the past, but as you said it’s getting harder and harder.

2 nil villa...

We are 16th and will be bottom 3 next week if we lose
Both Leicester, Villa and West Ham are in a false position based on the quality available to them. They are not our competition in this battle (competition listed below). Bournemouth game is now huge. If we win I hope we are not complacent in terms of looking to add a player in Jan.

Forest
wolves
Bournemouth
Leeds
Saints
Brentford

Here are the numbers on survival over the past 10 seasons: The lowest scoring team has been relegated all 10 years. The second lowest scoring team has been relegated 5 times out of 10. The 3rd lowest scoring team 6 out of 10. 11 goals in 14 games is in major danger territory.
