ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The Americans are all strapped in for the end goal of the super league and in house ownership of streaming rights. They’ll hang on for that but if either are at risk they’ll sell.

If they miss out on the CL we’ll just see the efforts for both to be ramped up massively. Henry wants risk free massive revenue from tv streaming of a comp that they can’t get relegated from. It will kill the game but that’s the end goal for him.
Yes probably. I can see a situation where relegation is removed from the PL as well. Horrible direction it's going in, but the pessimist in me thinks it's all a bit late now.

The specific point is though, at a time when theres record interest and investment from the US into the PL, Henry is not going to consider selling for at least 5 years, if ever. His other franchises are not going as well, so he can milk Liverpool, which was the point of the purchase.

The thing is, if the kid could actually defend then I'd agree, he's exceptional going forward.

In reality, he can't defend - he's a liability, so no. He couldn't.

fair comment, great going forward, crossing and passing sublime at times..this season though he's been off, does not look right at all, looks like he can't be arsed tracking back. One thing is for sure though he is not and never has been a good defender. Watched him panic on match of the day and he sliced one up in the air in the area, made Michael Keane look like Maldini.. That's why he won't going to the world cup, a Reece James is light years ahead of him.
