Everton midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall insists a European spot is an ambition for the Blues this season.
The Toffees are unbeaten in three league games. However, disappointing draws at home to Wolves and Leeds bookended an impressive win at Villa Park.
Indeed, if our home form matched our record on the road, we’d be a shoe-in for a European place.
However, with consecutive away games against Brighton and Fulham, it will be a defining few weeks.
Brighton are currently three points behind Moyes’ men, while Fulham are just a point ahead.
Speaking of Everton’s European prospects with BBC Radio Merseyside, Dewsbury-Hall said: “This is a mad league this year. We want to be in the European spots and we have got a lot of important games.
“We are playing a lot of teams that we have played and beaten. It is down to us now, and it is on us. If we want to achieve something we have to show it.”
BLUES MUST GO ALL OUT FOR EUROPE THIS SEASON – BUT HOME FORM TO BE KEY
The Blues sit just five points adrift of a Champions League place, with just three points separating us from Liverpool in sixth.
The table is incredibly tight, and any realistic European push may depend on investment before the window shuts.
Moyes will also need to find a way of improving our form at Hill Dickinson. We’re without a home victory since December 6th, with two subsequent defeats and two draws in the league.
It’s a realistic opportunity for Everton this season. As we’re already out of both cups and we have key players returning to the squad, it’s an opportunity we should be grabbing with both hands.
