Everton boss Sean Dyche is reluctant to confirm when new signing Youssef Chermiti will be available for selection.
Chermiti joined the Blues earlier this month in a £15m deal with Portuguese side Sporting CP but is yet to feature this season.
Indeed, Sean Dyche has confirmed that the 21-year-old is ‘training hard’ but was reluctant to confirm when he would be ready to make his debut for the club.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference via Everton’s official YouTube, Dyche said of Chermiti: “He’s only just getting with us, training hard and getting up to full speed. He’s doing well.”
When asked if he knew when the forward would be available, Dyche responded, “Yep.”
However, when he was prompted if he could be more specific in terms of time frame, Dyche said, “Nope.”

The Everton boss also confirmed that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will not be available for Saturday’s game following his collision with Aston Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez last week.
Dyche stated: “First things first, he’s (Calvert-Lewin) seeing a specialist tomorrow.
The specialist advice was he needed the swelling to settle down so unfortunately he will miss the weekend but that’s part of him hopefully getting the right answer and the protocols we need to follow.”
Alex Iwobi will also be absent from Saturday’s match day squad, and with no new incomings to speak of Dyche will be operating with both hands behind his back in terms of selection once again this weekend.
The Toffees are reportedly conducting a deal for Udinese forward Beto and tabling a £15m bid for Southampton striker Che Adams, but the club have left it until the final weeks of the window to address concerns regarding key areas of Dyche’s squad.
