I agree. It's just the media circus that's going to happen.

Makes no difference that we will finish above Utd and hopefully Arsenal, but that's not going to stop the press thinking that all our players are ready to jump ship! You know what it's like...I can imagine stories about every single member of the squad.

i just ignore it tbh. not one of them is reputable therefore i don't bother fretting about it. we have a lot of good lads here, their heads won't be turned by a jarg paper.

Not transfer related but this goal.com does some wonderful mental gyrations to puff up Moyes and downplay Martinez

My fav bit was "Whether he would admit it or not, Barkley also appears to have benefited from Moyes’ careful management of his development over the past two years. He now looks ready to be a Premier League star."

So sitting on the bench for 2 years is how to artfully develop a young player into a star? Funny, I thought it was to actually play the kid and give him confidence.

If they're not selling our players for us they're berating out loan signings. Look at the Arsenal fans singing "are you watching Everton?" also. Teams are starting to fear us again. I love it

Pretty fair imo, lists quite a few of the things Moyes is getting slated for, praises Martinez but still credits Moyes for doing well for us.
Ye, dont knock It mate Moyes steadied us for years, and fair play to him.
But that was yesteryear when we reached our zenith under his tutorship.
The King is Dead, Long Live the King.
Martinez has brought a whole new belief to this club, long may it last
This Guy laughs at the Media (like we all should do) so ignore all the crap thats being touted and leave that to all he Sun, Star & Mail buyers.

It's not really a bad article at us or anything, I just noticed something. Amazingly, the title of the article has Manchester United Vs Everton, not Everton vs Manchester United.

It's at Goodison.

Brilliant bias from the BBC. 90% of their articles are about United these days.

Mate off-times its the subtle bias or for or against teams that grates the most, it's a subliminal way of undermining without actually undermining blatantly, MOTD running orders, which game gets picked out as the 'top' game to be previewed by the papers/TV etc

Example Arsenal lose to us, story gets reported as Arsenal were poor another team does the same - their magnificent and destroyed a good team, we win a game in the dying seconds its reported as 'Everton got lucky' - 'got out of jail etc' another team does the same - they prove their character or title winning mentality etc

Its subtle but an obvious trend

A few dodgy sites linking Stones to City today, Caughtoffside, Sports Direct etc, not really worried about it, Stonsey loves it here.

Joe Bernstein of the Daily Mail, showing himself to be on a par with Martin Samuel with this piece:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...no-welcome-Bill-Kenwright-return-Everton.html

Analysing the Everton matchday programme for the United game and imagining snubs to Moyes that simply aren't there.

These media types seem to think we should see Moyes as some kind of great figure in our history to behold, and appear massively offended that we have so easily moved on from him.

NO RESPEKT FOR NOT PUTTING MOYES ON THE COVER OF THE PROGRAM????

I appriciate what Moyes has done for this club, his signings in the last couple years (Stones, Mirallas, Gibson, and for a time Jelavic) probably made the club attractive for Bob. However he's moved on, (and got a send off that few managers get) so have we.
