Who we gonna buy to replace him?

He may get sold, but I don’t think he will want to leave this summer.
Would his football education be better served going to United and playing alongside, Maguire , Lindelof and Martinez or stay here and continue to learn playing alongside Tarks, who has to be one of the best free signings of the last few years. Unfortunately our financial situation means it’s likely to be the former.

Id be surprised if more than one of those names are still there at the start of next season., they want to rebuild their back line by the sounds of things.

I don't have a problem with the club selling any other player so long as we can hang onto this guy.

Pickford, Dom, Onana, not bothered. So long as we can get at least one more season out of Branthwaite.

This summer regarding Branthwaite will determine if this club has learnt anything at all from previous mistakes, we sell Branthwaite for anything less than £100 mill then it's not worth selling him, as relegation will cost way over £150 mil plus.

He is one of the main reasons why we have had such a good defensive record.
If you bring Keane or Holgate back in then the team would have relegated by Feb of this year

Nobody knows for sure when it is claimed that we need to make sales before the 1st July to prevent a PSR breach. It could be true, but it might not be?

If it is true, then Branthwaite could only be sold to clubs that have the room in their own accounts to make a 60 - 80 million pound purchase within this accounting period, which must be a very small pool of clubs.

What clubs are capable of spending 60 - 80 million pound within this accounting period, without causing their own breach of PSR?

Don’t sell and take the points deduction,
Branthwaite is worth more than 6 points imo.
