I know. I was referring to Atsu.Mcgeady is not a replacement for delou. They were both at everton and McGeady normally plays on the left.

Babel cost 13 mill, geads cost 1 mill, what do people expect? he's a useful player, your not going to sign a world beater at 28 for 1 millHe's awful and if he played for anyone else especially our Neighbours we would say it too, and if they questioned us on it we'd laugh, he's a poor mans Marcus Babel with less end product.
You mean Ryan Babel? Marcus wasn't a bad player before his illness. He's awful and if he played for anyone else especially our Neighbours we would say it too, and if they questioned us on it we'd laugh, he's a poor mans Marcus Babel with less end product.
Not so much a case of the crowd getting to him as the opposition -- he had 3 or 4 on him every time he got the ball.Didnt have a great game last night, think the stick got to him a bit as his head didnt look in the right place. He did put in one magnificent cross onto Walters head though.
yeah thats true, there was a number of occasions where he had 3-4 Scottish players swarming around him, still I think the whole occasion definitely got to his head. Not so much a case of the crowd getting to him as the opposition -- he had 3 or 4 on him every time he got the ball.

AIDEN McGeady has suffered from being a jack-of-all trades in the past but has the ability to join football’s elite group of entertainers, says Roberto Martinez.
The winger - who played 90 minutes as Republic of Ireland lost 1-0 to Scotland on Friday - can make himself an ever-present in the Everton team now he has adapted to life in the Premier League, according to the man who signed him from Spartak Moscow in January.
Martinez said: “He is such a talented footballer. We need to ask him exactly what we want from him in the team. He played very different at Celtic than he was asked to play at Moscow. Then you have the way he plays for the national team.
“Sometimes being so good at many things can be a little bit of a problem. At the moment he’s shown flashes of outstanding moments while he’s been at Everton; it could be the goal at Leicester or his assist at Fulham last season. Maybe it’s when he has gone one on one with a defender.
“I’m very excited to see Aiden grow with us because he’s a phenomenal footballer, and when I say phenomenal I mean that his trickery, ball control and technical ability is something only an elite group in football have.
“The reality is now we’re seeing the way he can use those gifts to effect games. Now I know he can do it on a more consistent basis.
Martinez reckons the 28-year-old has a firm grasp of what is expected from him at Goodison now, and is fitter than ever.
“I think now we know exactly what his role is and he knows what the team expect from him,” he said. “His starting positions have been very good and in the last two games for us we’ve seen someone who is clear of what his job is on the pitch.
“Can he become indispensible? 100% yes. We’ve got very specific roles in our side. As a winger, Kevin Mirallas can play that role. But Aiden is unique for us as a right-footed winger. Christian Atsu is left-footed.
“There is always a period of adaptation for a player coming into this league. Aiden has had that. Physically he’s pristine and we’ve seen great moments from him. Now I know he can do it every week.”
McGeady had a quiet first half for his country at Celtic Park on Friday, and was booed throughout his return to the ground where he made his name.
The native Scot was booked but then improved after the break, putting in some dangerous crosses and forcing a good save from David Marshall.
His international boss Martin O’Neill said: “I think Aiden, like a number of players, for the sort of form he has shown recently, would have been a bit frustrated.”
When asked if the atmosphere and occasion had got to the Everton player, O’Neill added: “I haven’t spoken to him about that but for the form he has shown for us and the games he has won for us recently, he had a frustrating time.”
