4th Place - What's it going to take?

Not a question of who was signed but how were they used on the pitch, that is the difference. Over on Redcafe they complain of the hoofball that is now being used a lot and packing the defence. If you recall the mentality of our EX was for the team to go out and not lose now it is for the team to go out and win!! There is a huge difference in that mindset.

As soon as they see us in that 4th spot, they'll become a lot more motivated, don't let their form fool you.

To be honest, if they have to wait until they are seeing out tail before they start playing then they are beaten already.

Form isn't a thing a team can turn on and off to order.

A team has to play itself back into form and Arsenal don't have the time for that now.

Problem is they are playing a lot of sides who have nothing to play for and/or are dreadful. Wigan today is the toughest game they have on the fixture list as it's an attacking side who are used to winning.

Already thinking ahead to the Palace fixture.

Surely Osman and Gerard must be dropped to the bench, and replaced with 2 from Mirallas/McGeady/Barkley.

just take each game at a time and try to get as many points as possible. games that look easy on paper don't always end up that way so shouldnt take anything for granted viewing ours or arsenal's run in

I think the only team that will really trouble Arsenal will be WBA at home.

I think they'll smash the rest to be honest. Hopefully not enough to put them ahead of us on goal differential.

Well I don't really buy this argument, either. If they were playing teams scrapping right near the bottom then people would be saying that their run in was easy because they're playing teams who are down there because they're &^£% (and they'd be right).

One thing that could prove to provide Arsenal with some form is that chasing is a lot less strenuous than being chased, from a purely psychological point of view.

Now that we´re fourth, and the pressure is on us.
