We need more than just work rate though. I really respect players who put in the graft, i really do. Look at the team at Luton, I have zero doubts that starting XI has been putting in their all every game. I have no complaints as a fan that's all you can ask for as a certainty. I just dont...

He was doing a good job. But you know, clubs are impatient and despite taking over 18th last season, he finished 3 pts off the playoffs and gets sacked. Horrible world of Football really.

As i just put in naother post Gana is the only one id consider an arugment for - Harrisons output has been pretty poor.

Lonergan doesn't really count as hes the obligatory older 3rd keeper who basically just a coach and training support. Yes if we took 8 players out of the squad we'd miss them, but individually i dont think we'd miss, only person I'd hear arguments for is Gana, but that's accepting he's going...

Everton v Sheffield Utd. Sat 11 May. 3pm

Please just let the shackles off the players for this one. Last home game, really tough season mentally. No sitting back like against Luton. Just let them play, see who CAN play when there isnt a big massive cloud over the players and go for it.

I hope Thelwell has a plan and knows what hes doing this summer. A very massive summer with how many players wont be here next season.

Agreed, despite what Barkley did, having him in the midfield I'd feel much more confident of playing through the midfield. Still think even if we did sign those two, not sure how effective they'd be while we had no pace up top still.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

He might, but most likely Everton will be the biggest job of his career, he has been put into a box of how his teams play, which is his own fault. Alot of clubs won't touch him for that. You can look at it the other way though, if it doesn't work out then it's ebcause the club is a horrow show...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

That line speaks it all for me. He's done a fair job, absolutely bang on. Not great, not bad, very fair. There was the question of 4 months run, which again, was a FAIR question. Obviously, being able to motivate the players and get the better of Forest, Liverpool and Brentford in one week...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

To patronisingly say "if you want fancy stuff go support Barca/City", when at no point I have stated Dyche must play tika-taka otherwise hes gone. It's almost like well if you have any ambition then go support a team being succesful and discard your loyalty of which most of the time has been...

Say y Say you're initials thoughts are true (I have no idea). Theres too much smoke around 777 in several corners for there not to be fire.

6 goals this season. Last one came against chelsea at home in December. Which is mental. I thought he'd scored more recently than that.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Bit in bold, excuse you? Perhaps dont come across so condescending. I've been going the match for 27 years and have had what, 2/3 seasons of good footy? Some nerve that just because I want to see us progress. What GLORY has there been in 27 years? NOTHING. NONE. ZERO. I dont expect good footy...
