He was abeacon of light, when he joined us. He was a masterstroke, and almost certainly saved us from the unthinkable. Had the pleasure of meeting him, seemed a decent guy tbf.

Remember seeing him being interviewed after a match saying how proud he was to Captain Everton, he was so genuine about it. Him & Scot Gemmill saved us that year. Miss him, he was great. Made me cry watching that video.
