Good isn't it, watched it ages ago. He doesn't say a word during a game, and doesn't someone narrate the game to him in his head?

I'll give it another watch, thanks

That bit suprised me i imagined him to be barking orders left right and center but hes almost mute, what a player though so condfident on the ball

Amazed me how much walking he did for a centre midfielder. I'd have expected a lot more "up and down" running than you see. Must be great positional skills. SIGN HIM UP MOYLZ

I liked it but there was some old tosh in it too - the subtitles with his thoughts such as "When I'm playing the game I can hear someone in the crowd whispering to someone else".

Yeah, course you can mate.

Hah yeah. Though I liked that side of it. He's one of those players that just seemed to know what was happening everywhere at once, and he did say 'I can imagine I can hear the ticking of someone's watch.' That's borderline madness, which is great.

I'd love to see a Joe Cole or Kevin Nolan version.

"Sometimes when I'm jogging about, I'm thinking... I wonder what I'll have for tea later? Maybe I'll have fish fingers. Or that ham I got from Tesco."

"When the crowd roar I can hear them. In my ears. It's right loud."

"I love football me."

 Probably very close to the truth.

Of course the French can get away with it. They're all philosophers. If they say they can hear the heartbeat of a hotdog vendor outside the stadium we just shrug - if Tony Hibbert said it we'd have him Sectioned to Ashworth.

Great film. Zidane's my favourite ever non-Everton player. Absolute legend and this film's just mesmorising. A bit like snooker.

Maybe he "heard" someone whisper "go on son, headbutt that Italian prick"

(Not trying to be racist here either)
