Very good player and causes problems who ever he faces. Under someone like guardiola could become a class player.

Has the attributes to become a class player which is why the fee is going so high.

Richarlison does though.

We need a striker, an out and out goal slotter. Not an anomaly of a footballer.

For £60m - £80m you could easily find 3 quality players from around Europe/South America that would add for more value to the team and cover positions we need

But eh ho at least he looks boss on YouTube

In the last 3 seasons he played 98 games, 26 goals and 26 assists. That's 1 in every 1.8 games he is directly involved in a goal playing mainly from the wing.

The lad doesn't just look boss on YouTube he is boss. To be pulling in those numbers while playing for a crystal palace side that is being managed by Roy hodgson for the most part is quality.

If you can find 3 players for £60-80m that can do that you need to quit your job and become a scout mate because you have talent!

Every time I see him he dances past a few players a couple of a times during a game, it looks good and he looks a threat. This is what people remember.

Then you watch him closely and see how many times he chooses the wrong pass, runs into trouble, mis-controls the ball and loses possession; the basic stuff.

He’s 26, has an awful goal return for such a “threat”, no top club has declared an interest in him considering how often we’ve been told he’s this world class superstar.

Man Utd went for him when he wasn't as good as he is now. He is not an out and out striker so his return is reasonably good

If Brands thinks he's worth more than '3 quality players from Europe/South America' that's good enough for me.

As far as I'm concerned, Richarlison and Zaha out wide means our wings are sorted for years to come.

Arsenal apparently reaching an agreement to sign Pepe, so Everton or nothing for Zaha (I don't believe Chelsea will sign him just to loan him back to Palace). Interesting.

Under, Malcom and Lozano are all better than Zaha; younger and probably cheaper. They're known quantities as well with the ability to have a greater sell on in years to come, ROI and all that

But Marcel is known for unearthing talents in South America

Remember this same logic when we signed that utter cart horse who we can't shift for free. You know him, the other king of flicks, tricks and FIFA "special moves"

So we spend £60-£80m on a "reasonably good"goal scorer and an average player when we are crying out for an out and out striker

Top logic

I know we need a striker duh! and there is possibly 1 or 2 in the pipe line. Doesn't stop the need for another cracking proven player. We must always look to improve and Zaha is an improvement. That is good logic.

It really isn't mate, £60m for someone who is 26 and people are banging on about potential. Spending £30m on someone like Malcom/Neres/Lozano is good logic, because he's younger, more talented and even if flops after 2 years you're still likely to get a return on your outlay. If succeeds you can triple your outlay and reinvest, that's the cycle

Well....... 8 months ago that comment was made. After a season and a half of good form from Zaha.

Nostradamus you lad.
I was getting slaughtered on here the other day after I suggested Zaha (before all the press speculation). Now most are on board with it.

Funny that.....
