He may well be ok, tonight was not the game to start him in, did Dyche know that and play him to make a point tonight, our lack of quality, put undue pressure on Chermiti was unfair. When, with his seasoned experience, Beto came on, we looked a different team. Bear in mind, Chermiti is a kid, he's got a chance.

Of course he’s got time on his side. We still don’t however. Still a puzzling signing given how raw he still looks and how we have immediate needs all over the shop.

Not writing the lad of giving how his teammates played, but his touch had Stuey Barlow written all over it....

Patience is a virtue

And we don't have it.

Sad thing is Dyche will probably throw Maupay on instead of him at the weekend after how they both performed tonight.

Tonight goes to show you that he well and truly was bought for the future. He needs a couple of years before he can be relied on regularly, and its unfair to expect more from him.

Oof. Just getting to watch the match finally. Don't want to be too tough on the young man as he obviously isn't ready to substantially contribute to the team, but he was absolutely awful. Think he won one free kick in the first half and that was the only positive contribution. Rightfully hooked at half.

Lots of work to do

I’m glad he started to be honest. He needs an introduction and it’s better here than the league in front of our home crowd where he will be under infinitely more pressure. Beto got to come on and be the hero and Joussef got some XP. Win win. Hopefully his future appearances won’t be under such rough circumstances.
