Anichebe - £4 million

Don't need to? Or can't?

If I can't sell at all, id buy:

Distin £2m

Jo - Loan

Stephen Hunt - £3m

Fanni - £6m

Van Der Vaart - £9m.

Would still try to sell Anichebe for around 3 million. Don't rate him and think he'll never make it at Everton. Splash out big on a DM (like the sound of that Matuidi guy) and think (more hope) 10 million would do the trick. Sign Kyle Naughton from Sheffield United for around 3-4 million and make him back-up to Phil Neville. Would also try to sign Lars Jacobsen on a permanent deal and be prepared to listen to offer for Tony Hibbert. Not that I desperately want him out. Next would be David Bentley of Spurs. Always rated him and would love him at Everton. Wouldn't pay more then 7-8 million for him though. After that, try to sign Jo on a year long loan from City and if there's anything left in my kitty, maybe ask Inter if I could have Obinna on loan.

Personaly id go:

J. McCarthey: 4 mill
Delph: 7 mill
Trochowski: 9mill
Owen: Free

*If Anichebe went id go all out for Naughton.

With the exchange rate poor and the 6 + 5 rule likely to come in may be in our intrests to buy British, also looks like Spurs have abandoned there policy of hoarding all the best young British talent so we may be in with more of a shout then in previous seasons.

I've got a couple of mates that support Reading, ones fanatical about them and the other not so, they both think he's the most overrated player in the Championship, as does a Preston lad and a Watford fan I know, plus every time I see him myself he looks average
