many people who write books, make films, act, sing, dance etc... use pseudonym's instead of their real names.

if you decided you did not want your real name exposed to the whole world what would your alter ego be named.

i will give you an example of famous pseudonym's:

Charles Dickens used the name Boz

Emily Bronte used Ellis Bell

J. K. Rowling used Kennilworthy Whisp and Newt Scamander

Stephen King used Richard Bachman

Benjamin Franklin used Silence Dogood

in fact you probably know most people by their actual pseudonym's rather than their real name i.e.

Woody Allen is the pseudonym of Allen Konigsberg

Stan Lee is the pseudonym of Stanley Lieber

Mark Twain is the pseudonym of Samuel Clemens

Lewis Carroll is the pseudonym of Charles Dodgson

George Orwell is the pseudonym of Eric Blair

George Eliot is the pseudonym of Mary Evans

Dr. Seuss is the pseudonym of Theodore Geisel

and these are just some of the few in only the literary world, think of more in the field of art, cinema, sport etc... theres tonnes more.

so what would you go for?

My dad writes book about walking and The Peak District and that sort of thing. He used to use his two middle names as his.

Just uses his normal name these days though.

Oh, mine would be Stone Cold Steve Austin

Mine was actually Bruce Wayne. Was doing some writing for a financial website a while back with a lass who couldn't be seen to be doing it, so she was Barbara Gordon, I was Bruce Wayne. Not long after that the original ToffeeWeb forum was created and the name was carried across.
