Going to town now to get jumbo sausages and hotdog rolls, going to get out the BBQ have them with a few home made chips. I've never grilled in the freezing weather so this will be a first.

It seems James also likes pineapple and ham pizza lol

Is right.

Thank you to our Colombian demigod for FINALLY settling this. Pineapple on pizza is more than acceptable - it's a favoured dish of one of the most talented players to ever wear the royal blue. If you're anti PoP, you're anti-James and should be flogged.

No sign of any mushy peas... how strange.

Most Colombians like pineapple in pizza, who wouldn't love this tropical goodness on anything lol

Mushy peas may be a different story though ;)

Can anyone recommend a good website or book with recipes for novices?
I am quite a good cook so the missus tells me. The best way for me is to pour a beer and use the BBC Good food web site. I enjoy cooking so much more with a beer or a glass of wine. I tend to follow the recipes on there as much as possible and if I haven't got something in that the recipe requires I google a substitute to replace it. James Martin's beef stew and dumplings is a winner for example. I cannot get swede over here so used sweet potato. It is just step by step. I also look for the higher star ratings on the recipes and read the comments. Some people tweak the recipes themselves which gives you another twist.

Here is the links for several websites that have easy recipes. Not sure what you enjoy eating so hopefully you find something here worth cooking that's easy enough to give it a try.
