Well at least Pulis is confident that this match isn't a relegation 6 pointer!

Pulis believes his team are well and truly in a battle to avoid the drop, but he thinks Everton will be clear of danger come the final few games of the season. "I don't see Everton being in it, they have had a poor run of results but they will pick up, there's too much quality in the group," he said.

"Before the season started I looked at their squad and thought it was the strongest squad I have seen for years.
"Roberto (Martinez) has added to it because of the Europa League, I expect them to go on a run of games and not be anywhere near it."

I think he's right but it probably won't be till after the arsenal game and by then we could be be close.

At least the Chelsea and Arsenal games the players will be up for, similar to the City game. They played well at both grounds last season so hopefully that gives them confidence.

It would be nice if Pulis could start us off on the winning run with 3 points on Monday though.

That's nice of him to say. He's going to bum us, isn't he?

I can't take another draw. And positivity has been hard for me since we were played off the park by Hull. Tony Pulis is my worst nightmare right now and I can't help but feel that I'm going to hear that maniacal laugh after the 90 minutes is up on Monday.
we are going to win this one...I have that feeling

Hull was awful but we seem to have found a bit of our old spirit the past three games, I think we are on an upswing in fortunes. I'm going to cling to that hope until Monday at least!

What is it they say about the hope? I'm actually slightly optimistic, our workrate has been faultless the last couple of games. But sometimes I hate what Pulis does with teams that should be nailed on 3-pointers.

We've been letting in goals for fun but I like the Stones/Jags partnership and Robles seems to be gaining confidence with each game. We've had a few days rest so Barry/Besic should be fresh and able to press their midfield. Lukaku and Mirallas seem to have talked each other into a positive frame of mind despite the loss of their friend so if they can do it feel I should be able to as well.

Pulis has only a 31% win ratio in PL apparently. Its ridiculous that we should even be worried about the clown. If Bob can't work out how to do these at home sorry, but he shouldn't be here

I know you're a blonde dear (at least your avatar would suggest so) but have you really only just looked at the league table ? and smelt the coffee ?
Come on mate, that's quite patronising that.

Anyway, I'd like to see something like @bluegirl suggested in my '2 up front' thread, ie. a diamond system.

Robles

Baines
Jags
Stones
Coleman

Besic

Naismith
Mirallas

Barkley

Lukaku
Kone

Or something like that, with whoever is fit.
