Your Goodison match day routine?

Hmm. When I was an ST holder during school days, I'd walk to the game from Bootle, past the Mons. I always had to walk up Dumbarton Street because if I didn't then Graeme Sharp deffo wouldn't score. This routine served me well till I got to 16/17 and started a few pre-match pints in the County. Luckily that was around the time we flogged him to Oldham.

Get up,
Have brekky,
Go on twitter to see loads of blues tweet what they think the team will be,
Have dinner,
Walk down to the Black Horse about half 1,
Check twitter for actual line up, watch twitter go into meltdown cos Osman or Naismith are starting,
Fume a bit myself, all this while having a couple of pints,
Walk up to the ground,
Have a warm pint of pissy Chang,
Go and get my seat.
Cheer when Naismith scores even though I was fuming he started.
Walk back down to the Black Horse after the game,
Couple of pints,
Walk home via chippy.

Get up,
Shout "IT'S MATCH DAYYYY!!!!" until my girlfriend tells me off
Get a shower and get ready
Drop her back at her mum an dads house
Drive to my mum an dads to meet my dad
He drives us to Cherry lane, park up and check in on FB
Tell the kid who asks to mind our car "if we win i'll pay you"
Walk to the ground, and grab a drink/sausage barm sometimes
Walk through the fanzone, see that girl is singing as always
Walk into the ground
Prepare to celebrate a win.

Drive to town
Park up in either Mount Pleasant or St John's (Usually Mount Pleasant as it's only £4 for the whole day but it also closes at 8PM)
Walk from town to Goodison
Meet up with some people for pre-match drinks, if anyone is free to do so
Watch the match
Walk back to the centre
Drive home listening to "Call Collymore"

Shower
Pre-match food : Egg and Bacon on Toast
Watch Sky sports with a couple of tins
Delta cab to County Road
A pint of Chang in Lower Glad (Why I don't know - Mrs likes Chang)
Watch the match
Walk down to Breeze Hill to catch a bus home.
Sleep the ale off.
Match of Day if we have won.

1.) Wake up and remember it's match day and realise how boss this day is gonna be.
2.) End up leaving a little bit too late and have to bomb it to the ground
3.) Park up, make sure I've got everything
4.) Leg it over to the chippy by the church
5.) "Just a tray of chips please, no vinegar, just salt"
6.) Proceed to add even more salt to the point where just looking at aforesaid chips makes my liver hurt
7.) Go into Goodison, find my seat and cheer on the blues.

Being an Everton supporter is proper boss.

When I go, can never find babysitters, but when I do, its 2 or 3 in the Elm, 1 in the Oak and Warm chang, a load of annoying wee's, chippy at golden star and then home

Get up
Watch Future EFC legend destroy some team
Old man drives to game, late
drink cans and play "Guess the team / score / scorer / attendance" with my son
Park
Black horse for swifty
Match
Run back to car with tinnies
chat about us winning the lot on the way back, as we pay my son for getting the predictions spot on

Love our match days, 3 generations in 1 car.

for a 3pm kick off out the door for 9am train into London Liverpool St, tube to Euston, train to Lime Street for about midday, few pints usually in ONeills to watch the early kick off before getting a cab to Goodison, pint in the ground and in my seat for about 1/4 to kick off. Get serious tingles on my neck for z-cars, turn to the wife and tell her 'I love this place' and watch us demolish "insert team".
After the game soccer bus back into town, few pints, some dinner and usually the cavern club until the early hours, stay over in overpriced hotel, train home in the morning. Cant think of a better weekend

Dad drives to the car park near Stanley park
Nip in the abbey for a Couple of slerps
Run to the burger van on goodison road to get a hotdog

Back to the car and home
Maybe get steamed in the pub if it's an early kickoff

Wake up, breaky
Sh1t shower shave
Bookies
Boozer, Phone around to see if anyones on yet
Match

Phone around to see if anyones at a party
Phone around to see if anyones still on
Spend Sunday feeling like a used tampon

Wake up, egg butty, usually catch the footy that's on tele then leave about half an hour before kick off, walk through Stanley Park, take my seat, enjoy watching the pre-match montage on the big screen (you know the one I'm talking about, Go West and Blue da ba dee etc) and as of last season usually go home with a smile on my face.
