Got to be Diego Forlán for me. And I would have said so before the world cup too ;)

He's got everything on the pitch, and he seems a class act off of it. And he was for Uruguay what Rooney should have been for England, and I'm glad he got the Golden Ball. Top man.

What about you guys?
 

Forlan is popular, but a lot of that tends to be his femininity as much as his footballing prowess.

Another player I was impressed with was Mesut Ozil, and would welcome him at Everton.

Jesus Navas, or Siem De Jong - both incredibly talented footy players, young as well.

Özil really impressed me too. He seemed to get his head down, and put in a shift beyond his years. Such a talent as well.
 

How long before some quilt says Mikel Areta and means it.

For me.....Michael Essien, would love him at Everton
