He's finished hear Yes but I think if he where to go to another club and get fit he'd get back to a reasonable level. He hasn't had an dangerous injuries that would effect him at this stage of his career and at 28 he should be in his prime.

Even when he played for us last season he didn't look to bad. He played to a good level in most of the games but lack of match practice meant he was gone by the hour mark.

Although I don't want him at the club he is a good player and has the talent to still make something of his career elsewhere.

I see him going back to Holland myself but I think he'd make the grade in MLS too and I'm sure there are a few teams here that could use him.

I'm surprised someone hasnt taken off us on a free as a gamble. He's still got a decent enough name in european football if purely for what he did in his early days. But saying that, if Moyes cant get him fit then maybe no one can.

Fitness has surely been the main issue with him.

I don't disagree that his attitude left a lot to be desired as well as his approach towards training, etc... early on but lately, I just think he's been very unlucky with injuries.

The Alkmaar away match comes to mind as he was more than likely going to play until he got a gash in his leg during training.

Shand... Sorry Andy will play in a Blue shirt again sooner rather than later I reckon. He might not get renewed(probably not), but I think Moyes will make 100% sure before he lets him go.

He did well last season, against Newcastle, Blackburn, Reading and West Ham especially.

But Moyes would sack him off after 60-70 mins cus he was [Poor language removed].

He's a top player but sadly his career has become a joke.
