If I've learned one thing and one thing only, it's never use the internet to diagnose.

I've had head cancer and all sorts.

Hahaha, I totally get this. I had neck cancer on both sides with no chance to operate. And then I bought a microphone to use in the classroom and it went away.

You need these lad. Not trendy, but they are very good for your feet. (Brooks trainers, BTW)

Nah, it will clear up apparently, has to be an allergic reaction to the new washing powder, contact dermatitis he said, which causes the skin to blister. Couldn't be in a more uncomfortable place on my foot though I don't reckon.

Feet are still in bit's here, but nowhere near as bad at the moment, the cream seems to be doing the job. My hands however are another matter and dry, cracked and very sore, the palms are a mess so using the cream but given how long it's taken to do it's magic on my feet I've got another week at least before my mitts start getting better. Problem is everything you do the cracks open up and sting like feck.

Deffo reckon it was down to the washing powder that the mrs started using, as I hung the washing out during the last hurricane and that day my hands were burning after handling the smalls. I even reckon that this...
http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/28754-That-Bloody-Lobster-!!?highlight=lobster was probably down to swiping some washing powder from me mar's when we'd run out as the rash/ leprosy effect is the same, and I'd never had a shellfish, mollusc, crustacean problem before, in fact quite the opposite.

Blardy sore though, wrapping my hand around something is excruciating so good job I can reach.

Reidy, try fairy washing powder/gel*/tabs/liqui-tabs and fairy fabric softener/comfort pure fabric softener, i have allergic reactions to most powders but these are non bio and designed for newborn babies. im okay with ariel too!! try antihystamine or hydrocortisone cream. i also suffer with my hands, dry cracked split and bleeding as im constantly cleaning or washing up and the chemicals damage my skin! doc gave me hydrocortisone and it didnt really work but i had some antibiotic cream (fucidin) left from when i had an infected gnat bite on my leg and its clearing them up a treat, also if they itch, eurax is really good :) and after sun is brilliant for soothing. good luck!!

but deffo, 100% swap detergents!!!!!

* this denotes my personal preference as it just makes your washing smell so fresh and doesnt go clumpy or bitty like powder can

we have Hayee, it was the swapping to a biological one that started it, now we've gone back to the non-bio we always used. The washing was very wet when I hung it out and like I say my hands were burning afterwards, feet are still itchy as feck but hands are the main problem. The cream DiproSalic seems to be doing the job, doc said if it doesn't seem to be working I can ring and he will prescribe a different one.

The stuff I've had on my hands over the years working and never had a prob, in fact I could never use the barrier creams as they caused me probs but the oil, grease, cutting fluids and shoite that my hands were covered in every day never bothered me.

I had worn some latex gloves actually and thought about your allergy, but I hadn't had them on my feet !!

the powder in latex gloves is an absolute ****er, especially when skins already damaged! get the mrs to put the washing on a second spin before she takes it out the machine because a, it halfs drying time and b, it removes excess soapy water
