No away fan culture in Spain, Im surprised this has even made the news, or should I really be surprised, as our media are clueless.

My brother in law was at Bilbao v Barca last month and he said there was only a few hundred away fans.

I was at Hellas Verona v Roma the same night, and there was a pretty good Roma contingent - I would estimate 1500, but nothing like the kind of away support that Everton bring - even to Reading midweek in the League Cup !!

Same can't be said of Napoli fans who like nothing more than a good day out in the capital when they play Roma. At about 1.30mins in they find their voice. You don't need to be fluent in Italian to understand what they're saying lol

So it's worse then?

Got it
In fairness travelling around the country in Spain is not as easy as it is here. in a lot of games kick off times are stupid

I watched Barca b v girona 18 months ago and girona had about 800 fans there .

The following night Barca v Bilbao and there was plenty of Bilbao scattered around the nou camp.

By the way lads, I'm totally having you on

Duh, Spain is big and more difficult to traverse of course less people will go the match

I was being deliberately incendiary in an effort to rattle your cages

Nice seeing you snobby La Liga fans leap to shout people down. Always worth a chuckle
of course Michael
