Was over for the Villa match at the weekend, but enough of that. In town I bought Everton birthday and Christmas cards for a spurs supporting friend of mine. They were official Everton cards from JJB.
I got them home and opened them, wrote witty remarks on the card and went to peel off the price sticker, the price and sticker were PRINTED on the card, can you beleive it, I ended up scraping the price off the card, not very professional looking.
Has anyone else come accross incompetence on this scale with anything associated with Everton, or is that a silly question. :blink::blink::blink:

i've complained about this a couple other times, and no one's really shared my anger, but i still fume over the websites shipping prices.

there is no reason it should cost 25 pounds to ship a shirt across the atlantic to washington dc. right now i'm buying a kit off ebay for 16 pounds plus 6 pounds for shipping, rather than paying the 16 for a shirt on evertonfc.com plus 25 pounds for shipping. the item is shipping from wales so hopefully it won't be a fake shirt, but thats still lost revenue for the club.

it will greatly increase the clubs profile internationally if people wear club merchandise overseas, its practically free advertising for the club. the united states may not be a huge market for football, but i believe the shipping prices are that high for Asia as well, where football is gaining popularity.

wait wait.... the price was ON the card.... bloody hell.

at first I thought you meant the sticker came off to reveal a white space or something, but to actually be printed on the card is madness.

Reckon someone at the printing press just copied in the design complete with sticker not realising the sticker needs to be added seperatley... maybe it was the same bloke whose job it is to stick the damn things on....
