Honestly he had two direct free kicks just outside the box last week and both hit the wall. What is it about Everton, because at Swansea he was banging them in from all angles. What do we do to players ?

I can't help feeling we're loading our injured players up with a whole lot of expectation with each passing week of lacklusture displays. You sense people are expecting Gomes to come and be Pirlo like.
Think it could be more to the ideas of shipping one or two of the older players out of the team. Gomes for Schneiderlin, because Schneiderlin and Gueye don't work. Bernard for Sigurdsson, Digne for Baines and Mina for Holgate. Fans want to see the new signings simply because some of the others have become stale and aren't working.
Think Gomes would struggle to look any worse than what we already have personally.
Going by this Toff he never scored any of his goals for Spurs from a free - kick, the 8th one is a belter like.

He has to be better than Williams. I havent seen this big lad play, in fact I’d never even heard of him until he scored a late goal from a corner against England. Others may have, I hadn’t.
Must be me, didn’t even think he even stood out in that game or that he was a squad player at Barcelona. No idea how good he is to be honest, but I have seen Williams and based on that fact alone he can’t be worse. How much better, I ain’t sure but one thing is for sure it’ll be an improvement.
