think united will get alderweireld in the end, he's so much better than all the other alternatives and spurs will want to get good money for him. He's barely in their plans anymore, they're just playing the waiting game smartly.

Normally we spend ages on one player. You'd think we'd have some decent alternatives lined, up. I think we need two Centre backs. See on SSN that Fulham are close to signing Alfie Mawson. I'm sure we could get him or Ben Davies from Boro? If we miss out.
Thought this one would be relatively "easy", at this point they need to move on. We desperately need a CB(two really), can't be waiting around for someone waiting for a better offer to come in and say "fiiiine, I GUESS I'll go to Everton".

The same way we’re a bit put off by the fact he’s waiting for a bigger club, does it not work the same way for a player when the club he wants to go to see him as a backup option?
