Thanks coyney, but I am not going yet, I have just had my name submitted to potentially go. Will hopefully find out in the near future if I am the Sub School nominee.

Here is how the selection process goes. Each department submits one nominee. That nominee's go to a board and the board selects the best qualified one for the job. Then the actual Sub school nominee goes to another board where he is placed in a pool with about 6 or 7 other commands. So currently I am 1 of about 35 nominees for this one position. Frankly I doubt I will be selected as I have extra-ordinary circumstances regarding the wife and my son which would prevent my selection.

She's doing fine, she is smart enough to know that stressing out about the uncertainty is pointless. IF I do get selected then she can stress out big time! I will too then!
