The other night I watched a Clockwork Orange again for the first time in eons, this was the one that was banned for 26 years or thereabouts, was re-released in cinemas in 2000, to coincide with the death of director Stanley Kubrick.
It all came back how great it was, it has lost it's shock appeal, and there was a hell of a fuss when it was released back in '71, with copycat crimes and such, but even today nearly 40 years on, it still has the power to mesmerize.
Hard to go through it all to anyone who has not seen it.
To anyone who has trouble with Scouse Slang, may have a hard time with this movie, as it's mainly narrated in part Russian, Cockney rhyming slang and other confusing talk.
A must for anyone seeking a bit of rape, ultraviolence and Beethoven.
