The injury has done for him, not the same player, can not move away from defenders as he did with his pace before.
We lose games when he starts because he is dire in possession, hits aimless crosses, and does daft tricks which you're mates would be slagging you off for if you did them on a playground 5 a side.
Amd then defensively, he has not got a clue where he's meant to be, and he never seems to understand how to link the play either inside to a midfielder or outside to his full back.

I felt sorry for him he was that out of place yesterday. It was like he had never been on a pitch before .
Premier League football is about end product. You can have the nicest ball player who can beat 3 defenders but who always takes on the fourth and loses the ball. He may look good but his contribution is zero. Yannick may, on a good day, beat 3 defenders but he lacks end product. He doesn't influence results, he is a sideshow.
The time for reality is upon us, Kenwright is too conservative in his thinking, our commercial manager isn't commercially savvy, Fat Sam is past his sell by date, Snids only plays when it suits him and our defence is too old.
However not getting beaten today was a very pleasant surprise.
