Transfer Rumour Yacine Brahimi

The mirror reckon we offered €40 million euros and a 20% sell on clause but it's rejected as Porto want €50 million due to owning only 50% of the player.

This will mean either the deal falls through or Moshiri finally shows that big ambition and pays the extra £5-10 million and makes a massive statement. Hopefully it see's us look to sell some of the deadwood in the squad if it's the latter.

It's off - as far as I've been able to tell, O Jogo are extremely reliable for Portugal stuff:

"Algerian returns to FC Porto club after representing the selection of Algeria

Yacina Brahimi will stay at FC Porto, FC Porto returned to the club after representing the selection of Algeria, who will play Lesotho in meeting the date for qualifying for the CAN 2017. As reported the British press, the player came close to joining Everton, but the deal eventually fell apart.

Brahimi prepares well to play the third consecutive season with FC Porto, after two seasons in which indicated 21 goals in 86 official matches."

That was a strange one.
