Bit of a price war going on, which should I go for if the price is right?

I dont have either, but from my point of view im gonna be buying an xbox, its the cheaper option, also I heard, might have been lies, that they cant make games for the PS3, not games that utilise the full power anyway, so the PS3 might be better, but they are dumbing down the games for it.
Most games are made cross format, so it must be difficult when 1 system is so much better than the rest.
Just my very, very limited take on it all.

Voted for PS3 because i am biased. Both consoles are decent but the X-Box charge a yearly subscription to play online unlike the PS3 which is free. This alone could be enough to sway people towards buy the PS3. Another feature that may or may not be of use too many, the PS3 boasts a blue-ray player which will one day take over the DVD Rom.

PS3 all the way. The 360's finishing its life cycle IMO with nothing much coming out worth of merit exclusively in the near future.
You've got GT5, Metal Gear Solid, God Of War 3, and Uncharted 2 (which is getting nigh on perfect scores and is the best reviewed game of this year so far) which is out soon.
Also got the Blu Ray player and free online....

metal gear solid is coming out on the 360, we dont need gt5 when we have forza 3. also god of war and uncharted look like crap compared to left 4 dead.
as far as online goas, i`d rather pay a few quid extra than the crap ps3 has to put up with.

Well there's also MAG too...which is the biggest online shooter in the history of consoles (I think) with a server that can hold 256 players in 1 game....
Not bad for free online.

i was thinkin about tradeing in my xbox elite for 1 last week but it just seemed like hassle, ps3slimline is well worth gettin.
