I think the humour has now been lost on me. I was so looking forward to the terrible twosome being booted out, but when Jamie Afro gets booted out instead of that tweet none singing boy, the joke has gone too far.

Next it will be my favourite Joe or even giggly Stacey booted out instead of Jedward. Don't really rate Danyl as a winner. I suppose that's the fans revenge on Silly Simon.

How can you have a singing competition when so many contestants can't sing?

err, because it's not a singing competition.

It's feeding the PR machine that is Cowell. Where is the sense in booting out the most controversial contestants in the history of the fledgling show?

Who else is able to command such front-page headlines?

There was a young black girl singing in the bootcamp and she was immense, and being the only show I watched it was enough for me to recognise talent. She never got through, apparently because Cowell wanted a male winner this time. Bizarre beyond belief.

But if any of these sad wannabes are any good then they will make it on their own.

Thank the Lord , that I have never watched 5 mins of any of those Singing / Dancing / Cooking / Jungle / Singing-when-dancing-and-cooking-in-the-jungle , ... etc , type programmes .
It's at times like these that one feels the benefit .

in fact, drop the 'young' it's ageist

and 'girl' could be deemed sexist.

probably best to just say 'someone'. it will cause confusion but will prevent offence being taken.

Well that really depends on if the person is looking for some offensive comment.

Offence can be found in any conversation, if looked hard enough.

Are you patronising me? Im not your mate!, why you calling me Sir? i'm not a teacher and I haven't flew a balloon across the Atlantic. etc.......

Anyway folks, back to the subject. There was two black girls. One was good, but perhaps not good enough anyway. The other was rather large, and I think that she didn't get through because of the "Rick Waller" effect, she wasn't televisual. But that is the nature of the show, style over substance.

And you other guys, leave the "black and white minstral show" at the door, I'm more than capable of talking about an issue without bringing race into it.

And if you really want to know, my favourites for the show they are Joe(an absolute natural), and Stacey, who's so kooky, I'd strangle her if we lived together.
