wrong top from everton direct

Haha ffs I was expecting this to be some ridiculous my shirt was the wrong size-thread but that's pretty awesome. I'd be positively fuming in such a scenario.

We've been wearing variations of a blue top with white trims for nigh on a century mate, how original do you expect it to be. More importantly, it's not like you wear it to take your bird out is it?

It's the approach that Nike have to Everton that riles. Our jersey is just a Teamwear top that they churn out to Sunday league teams.

I work for Umbro who are owned by Nike. The latter literally do just have a scatter gun approach to sponsoring teams; so long as we're not wearing Adidas they're happy.
At least with Le Coq, Umbro et cetera we'd be guaranteed a kit that they've actually thought about!

But yes, I wholeheartedly agree with returning it to Nike with a stool sample!

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't us and Chelski have basically the same kit for about 5 years on the bounce off Umbro?

05/06 Chelsea was admittedly very similar to 07/08 Everton.

We'll get really good shirt sales this season make no mistake. The question will be whether we get a Teamwear jersey from Nike next season as well. Hopefully they'll address their refusal to negotiate with Kitbag to get our kit listed on Nike.com and in Nike stores.

got my youngest daughters home top on monday from everton direct and thought it looked abit small (but it wasnt) so looked at returning it. and the return address is in manchester so dunno if us and both manc clubs all come from the same distribution center as we and them are all under nike in some way!

Shows what an awful deal that Kitbag thing was.

???

Umbro did use templates and styles but they varied their designs for each club. (They never gave a team an 'old' design either, to their credit)

Nike or whichever 3rd party supplies us do not. We had a long thread about it during the summer.

Personally I'm disapointed about the home shirt and shorts, but the away and 3rd shirts kind of make up for it in my eyes.

This rubbish about Nike not producing extreme sizes or ladies tops stinks to me. The excuse being that the numbers don't justify manufacture. I work at a school and we have school jumpers made in batches of 300 or so with badges on - in different sizes and different cuts for the kids - boys and girls tops. 300 - not 3000 or 30000! AND the jumpers cost way less than a footie shirt, AND the manufacturers still make a packet, even though they're made in the UK rather than a Taiwanese sweat shop for pennies. Strikes me that Nike CBA. Very disrespectful of our club.
