ith just two days left of the transfer window, could David Moyes be about to sign Kevin Doyle at the expense of Victor Anichebe.
Everton have made an enquiry for Wolves striker Doyle but the Championship side’s asking price is said to be too high. A possible swap deal with Victor Anichebe being used as the make weight is the latest word on the street. Anichebe started and scored in last night’s win over Leyton Orient but has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park. There has been reported interest from Wigan and Birmingham for the Nigerian but it now appears he could be used as part of a potential player plus cash deal to bring Kevin Doyle to Everton.
Moyes is a long time admirer of Doyle, who has scored goals in the Premier League before, but will he make a late move for the Irishman and finally bring him to Goodison?
 


Vic is better than doyle.. I think he would score a lot of goals in the Championship. I posted a thread last week, stating that Wolves wanted Vic.

Vic has scored 7 in his last 17 hasn't he? Give him stick but that is a good ratio and the lad is clearly improving. Doyle is a poor player.
 

Doyle offers a different option up front to what we have at the moment, if we're winning at the ethiad with 25 mins to go, who would you rather send on as a sub? i'd swap him in a heartbeat
