Would you be willing to sell a big name to reinvest?

Bruce Wayne

Player Valuation: £100m
Traditionally whenever we've needed to reinvest in the squad to any great extent, we've sold a player for big bucks to do so (Rooney, Fellaini, Lescott etc.)

Would you be willing to sell someone like Lukaku, Stones or Barkley in order to reinvest or would you be happy with a smaller transfer kitty this summer?

Wait a year till the euro's and then we may have to possibly cash in if one of them tear it up over there. Would be silly to sell Rom or Barkley this summer as they aren't at peak value

Shouldnt be a question with the money the prems coming into, plus it goes up by a few billion next season.

Would take a high bid for barkley though.

Absolutely no way should we entertain any bid for Stones, no matter how big

In the past we've sold out of necessity thankfully the TV deal that kicked in last season has increased our income sufficiently to change that and we'll have enough money to substantially invest in the squad without being forced to sell any of our best players.

Not Stones because he will be far to hard to replace, he wins us games. I also hope we don't sell Lukaku because to get 20 in a poor side shows he has more goals in him but still hasn't reached full potential, we could have a better goal machine than we realize with this guy. No one else i am worried about at all, the rest wont be missed or can be replaced.

We've got money, well we bloody should have!
Cant see any big names leaving this year, but i can see us having a good Summer.
Ship out the deadwood, and as someone above mentioned theres a few decent freebies this Summer. Sign who we want to improve the quality of the starting eleven, then improve the quality of the squad with a few freebies.

There's no point selling those players at this point, as we should be building around them to increase their overall value and our team as a whole.

With the TV money, no point in doing anything but offloading deadwood and bringing in the support network at this point. We don't need to spend big money to improve dramatically to be honest - the big money signings are already in place.

I think we need to fork out a decent amount for a playmaker tbh, 10-15million. Someone who is a younger version of Pienaar and Osman. Someone to add creativity and feed Lukaku. It's what we've missed this season, someone who can play between the lines and has a deft touch and final ball.

Aside from that though we don't need to bring in big money signings, we need to build around the young core that we have and keep those key players at the club.
