Worst players to play for us

...anybody mentioning Osman in this thread must have been asleep for the last 50 years. The lad got a couple of England caps last season. Its all about opinions, but that little fella is quality and shouldn't be anywhere near this thread.

If your getting paid as much as Osman is I expect any player to be able to this naturally, whether he makes his first touch look better than other players is not relevant its what he does with the ball next is what really counts an like I said before not much in Osmans case.
 
Denis gave 100% every time he played but technically he was gash, really, really gash. Simon Davies was poor, really poor as was Castillo and Van Der Meyde. I thought Gosling wasn't great either, for the exception of THAT goal and Stefan Wessels in goal... my God

Yeah i guess it's just how good they were elsewhere that made them look worse when they were with us.

They were awful for us though.

I forgot about Simon Davies. And how about Gary Naysmith and Scot Gemmill? Jesus, Naysmith was poor.
 
No idea why Osman's name has even been mentioned on this thread. Worst I've ever seen were Bakayoko and Oster. Could also include Williamson from that era but I remember him playing well in his one derby...

Mate what you're not getting is that this thread is about the WORST players to ever wear an Everton shirt.

Ossie doesn't belong anywhere near some of the utter dross we've had on the pitch. I mean...we have Gueye on our books right now!

I get your point, but it belongs in a different thread.

He got 2 call ups in 2012 played the full 90 in one which was a defeat to Sweden an sat on the bench the full 90 the other and quality far from it blue tinted specs comes to mine here.

My point being the fact after 10 years hes still here playing crap he deserves to be called the worst in my opinion, but I get your point maybe about being in another thread its just I've had enough of him over all these years.
 
Ridiculous that Osman a man who has gave everything he has for the Everton shirt should be mentioned on this thread has me gobsmacked. If he was useless id understand.

And to answer the question, Claus Thomsen wasn't great. Kenny Sansom was pretty awful during his time here but was one of the best left back's in the game back in the day.
