Tim Lovejoy made a brilliant Winston Bogarde joke on Soccer AM about 7 years ago. Its my fondest memory of Winston, that.

Van Hoijdonk was pretty rubbish. As was Vennegoor of Hesselink, utter clumsy oaf.

Van Hooijdonk was tremendous at free kicks. Vennegoor of Hesselink was clumsy, but could at least be used as a last chance substitution.

Yeah, he even flew back on a daily basis from London to amsterdam were he was living. Refused to cancel his contract and made Chelsea pay for every pound that negotiated when signing that deal.
