If it's gall stones, PM me and I'll send you a Paleo book and a link to a website and some podcasts. You can eliminate those nasty things with some dietary changes.

Cheers mate , got a 6 to 9 week wait for a scan ffs.... i'm gonna punch a nun before then !!

Paint thinners in your eye, felt like a red hot poker, my eye was closed, and weeping pus for days.

Had one in each ear once. Crippled me. Had to go Hospital Christmas eve to get stuff for it.

Nearly OD'ed on pain killers, mum actually thought I did so hid them :dodgy::lol:

If had the choice between getting shot or ear infection, I would easily go for getting shot.

Badly paranoid over ear infections these days. Wear hats when its cold and everything haha. I might get them particularly bad like, but horrific stuff.

Sorry but this just makes me laugh mate

I surely can't be the only one sat here absolutely pissing my pants at some of these descriptions. Top work fellas, and rather you lot than me with some of these injuries.

Me personally I've been lucky with pain and injuries; I think that the worst has been the obvious getting hit in the balls or something like that.

Worse than that for me though is having a blocked ear and the sensation it gives you of being all off balance in your head and you being unable to hear properly. So annoying.

This was a hard thread to read. Some of you's have had some heinous sh!t happening to ya. Anything to do with yer sack is a rough one. Oh the humanity.

Ear infection. Absolute agony.

Also when a lot younger, slipped on a wet bar on a climbing frame in play area. Fell right on my bollocks. Couldn't stand up straight for about 3 hours.

Without going into details, I'll offer up childbirth.

I think that is a thread-winner.

xx

Yep I'd agree, our ears take a severe battering whilst you're over doing it with the screaming and woe is me stuff. At least you get pumped full of drugs, what kind of pain relief do we get offered?

Yes, you poor guys I feel really sorry for you!

Apparently I smacked the Doctor in the face with oxygen/gas mask they give you, but in my defence I don't remember a thing!

I'm glad you agree. Watching a Doctor attempt to give my missus an epidural and then apologise for hitting a bit of bone is possibly the most horrible thing I have witnessed, so well done for whacking one in the face.

6 attempts to get the epidural in, she was sat with her hands kind of hanging off me while I was looking down on the guy doing the epidural.......................much claret. I saw much more during the section though, including after being handed my daughter I turned around and was standing in the surgeons place at the table, and no closing up or stitching had been done. There are pics just after her birth and in the background are folk with blood up to the elbows. She told everyone that I was useless in there until she saw the pics etc.

Soonere that than with the 2nd though as most of the blood then was his as the slit him with the scalpel, 13.5cm long cut on a 4 1/2 pound babies head aint to pretty.

Yeah I think you've just won at agony top trumps.

My wife nearly KILLED me when the epidural ceased functioning. Having said that she nearly killed the staff too.
Like Reidy above, my contributions were not appreciated until after the event, understandably.
