Worst defence since last relegation.

1951/52 was the last time we went down, defensively we are on course to go down with the worst run in the club,s history without a clean sheet and conceeding more than two goals a game on average. Its not just the top sides who are scoring freely against us either, Stoke,Hull,Newcastle and Blackburn to name just a few. Start worrying lads, this side has no Dave Watson/Barry Horne etc who will dig in if it gets ugly.

There is no way we will be relegated .not that we are that good more that there thankfully are far worse teams (y)

There's no fight in that side mate. Right in the centre of the park is the problem. No leaders amongst that load of bottlers.

I agree we need a leader that would run through a brick wall to stop a goal,there is a distinct lack of inspiration

We're in bad shape. This lot dont look up for it. I know Arsenal are...well...Arsenal, but lesser teams than us (and I use that word advisedly) have battled them, got the ball down and and even beaten them.

Well, #the manager not signing his contract' excuse is not available to them now, so they better start showing something like professional pride pretty soon or this could be a disastrous season.

We're not going down. You string 5-6 wins on the trot in the league your in the top ten. Spurs have done that old trick for about 5 seasons.

We wont go down we'll end up around the top 10 of that i'm sure but something needs to be done about the defense in january thats for sure.

It's been pretty bad.

What's scary is that it's the same players from last year.

They need to get it sorted but I've been saying that for weeks now.

I wonder if anyone still isn't worried. If every game is gonna be the one where it all comes good. And then its the next game, and then its the game after that.

I wouldn't be so sure there isn't any Derby Co this year and all 3 promoted teams have proven that they belong in the league. It could take 40+ pts this year to stay in the league. NUFC and Spurs have the talent to get hot and go on a winning streak. Stoke is going to get their fair share of wins. Some teams at the bottom (Wigan) have played well but have been robbed of points and unlucky.

Yep, its the same players, SO whats different?. Steve bloody Round thats what.
Newcastle were awful when he was there and now we are defensively playing like they were last season.

Well, he's my scapegoat.
